  • Wanda Wilson
    Client Services

    Wanda Wilson has been a part of our team since January of 1998. She enjoys working with all of the pets at our hospital and our great doctors. At home, she has two pets: a Poodle named Lucy and a cat named Pitty Pat. She and her husband Jimmy have been married since 1981.

  • Ansley Latham
    Technician

    Ansley has been a part of our team since June 2011 and she is currently in school studying to be a Veterinary Technician. She loves working with the animals and their owners. At home, Ansley has a number of pets at home including her Miniature Dachshund named Kahlua Bell, 2 Siberian Husky's named Malakai Topaz & Zaimah, Domestic Long Haired cat named Punkin Butt, Domestic Short Haired cats named Hobo & BB and various exotics. When she isn’t working, Ansley enjoys fishing, four-wheeling, mudding, camping, anything to do with the outdoors or animals, playing soccer, and going to the beach.

  • Melanie Hays
    Inventory Technician

    Melanie grew up in a small, rural Southwest Georgia town known as Colquitt, GA. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Education degree from University of Georgia in 1995 and continues to be an avid Georgia Bulldog football fan. She lived in Denver, CO for twelve years; Memphis, TN for six years; and eventually landed back in her beloved state of Georgia in 2014. Melanie enjoys motorcycle riding, going to the beach, and hanging out with her five dogs in her spare time.

  • Tracy Ledford Kennel
    Technician

    Tracy has worked in the Veterinary field for over 13 years. After living in Western North Carolina for several years, she has officially become a Newnanite. She lives with her two canine furbabies, Kane and Drea. She loves making sure the boarders are well taken care of , comfortable, and get extra loving while they are away from their owners.

  • Kacie Petty
    RVT

    Kacie was raised in Powder Springs, Ga. She acquired a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of West Georgia while on softball scholarship. She has been working in the Veterinary field now for a little over 6 years. She earned her Veterinary Assistant & Technician certification through Cedar Valley College.  She is happily married to Tim Petty of Carrollton, GA. Her children are 3 dogs: Bandit (shepherd mix), Nanook (Eskimo Spitz), and Junior (long-haired Chihuahua). She loves spending time with her husband and 3 dogs. She loves traveling, camping, hiking, biking, the beach, singing karaoke and throwing theme parties year ‘round J…even the dogs like participating.

  • Sydney Jones

    Sydney is originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, but has lived in LaGrange, Georgia for the past 9 years. A mother to one daughter, Skylar Quinn, who lives the school year in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Both mother and daughter share a strong love for animals. At home, Sydney has 3 dogs, 1 goat, 4 cats, and many chickens. This is all thanks in part to Brian, her VERY understanding husband of 6 years. She spends most of her free time with her animals, helping her husband out with hosting community benefit events, and getting together with friends. She has a passion for animals that doesn’t stop at work. We are very grateful to have her as a part of our Dogwood team

  • Claire Mitchum

    Claire recently joined the Dogwood team in August of 2019. She has a three year old dog named Zeus. Claire enjoy’ s hiking with Zeus and her husband, Wade. She also loves to watch movies, and quote them in everyday situations. Claire has always loved working with and around animals, and now that she’s getting to help animals every day it’s the greatest joy in her life.
