Paris

Paris

Paris grew up in Richmond, and has lived there most of her life. She had a verity of small critters as pets when she was young. Despite not having cats or dogs of her own growing up, she loved taking care of her neighbors and friends pets as if they were her own.

During high school and college she volunteered at the, Vancouver Aquariums Marine Mammal Rescue center. Paris had the chance to help rehabilitate all kinds of marine animals, such as otters, seal pups, and porpoises. Her favourite to work with were harbour porpoises, as her favourite animal. After graduation, she found she could put her love of animals and medical work together to take the Granville College vet assistant program in 2013.

While working at another vet clinic, she met Tofu. A 2 year old Pomeranian yorkie mix that a friend had rescued from abusive owners. Paris and Tofu quickly bonded, and after he won over the hearts of her family they adopted him. Despite having a difficult start in life, Tofu’s loving and affectionate personality makes him the best dog anyone could ask for. Sometimes Paris brings Tofu with her to the hospital, so you might see him from time to time!

Outside of taking care of your pets, Paris loves to go on nature walks with her dog, sketching, photography and watching awesome movies.
