OSTEOARTHRITIS is a painful disease that affects a dog's joints. It is the most common cause of pain in dogs. In fact, one in five adult dogs suffers from this condition. Some of the signs associated with arthritis include; reluctance to climb stairs, difficulty jumping, stiffness after exercise, limping, difficulty rising, sitting or squatting to eliminate, loss of appetite or changes in behavior.

Some dogs are at greater risk of developing arthritis. If your dog is over the age of 5, inactive, overweight, is a large breed or has prior joint injuries, you may consider talking to us concerning arthritis care.
