Gerald Hoffman, DVM

I grew up on a dairy farm in Minnesota and have always had an interest in helping animals. I graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 1970. I then went on to join the US Army Veterinary Corp and served in Korea. While there I ran a small animal hospital serving US military dogs as well as diplomatic and dependent family pets.

I purchased the Lake Grove Animal Clinic in 1976 and shortly thereafter changed the name to Lake Grove Veterinary Clinic. Our clinic is dedicated to providing compassionate high quality medical care to our patients with an emphasis on preventative medicine.

I have special interests in veterinary dentistry and pain management.

Stephanie Harvey, DVM

I have always loved helping animals and their people, and I decided at a young age to become a veterinarian. I grew up in Marietta, Georgia, and graduated from Berry College with a Bachelor of Science degree. I graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002 and worked in the Atlanta area for 5 years.

My husband and I moved to Portland in 2007, and I have been working at Lake Grove Veterinary Clinic ever since. I enjoy internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and helping my clients take great care of their pets.

I share my home with my husband, son, and two mischievous cats. I also have a beloved retired horse, and we hope to add a dog to our family soon. When I am not at the clinic, I like to hike, play with my son, and explore the Pacific Northwest.

Desiree Taylor, DVM

I was one of those kids that just always knew I wanted to be a veterinarian. I constantly had myself surrounded by animals growing up.

I graduated from University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine with the class of 2014 and moved to Oregon to start practicing. I joined Lake Grove in August 2015 as an associate DVM.

My special interests include behavior/fear free handling, soft tissue surgery and pain management.
