Bay Beach Veterinary Emergency Hospital (BBVEH) was established in 2017 after the owner, Dr. Kimberly Key saw the need to provide southern Virginia Beach, and surrounding areas, with affordable, state of the art emergency veterinary care.
BBVEH is a satellite clinic of Bay Beach Veterinary Hospital, near the Town Center area which has been serving Virginia Beach pet owners since 1965. It has evolved from a 1 doctor practice, to what is now a fully functioning general practice with 4 veterinarians, as well as a fully functioning ER hospital in the evenings, overnights, and weekends.
BBVEH is located near the Courthouse, on the corner of Nimmo parkway and Princess Anne. This location is equipped to handle any animal emergency that enters our doors. We have full in house diagnostics that include blood monitoring equipment, digital x-ray, ultrasound, and a fully equipped surgical suite.
There is a doctor on staff 24 hours a day. Our staff has years of experience in providing the greatest veterinary care for your pets. Rest assured, you and your pet will be in great hands.
