Meet Our Team

  • Dr.
    Leslie Ann Jones
    DVM/MVB/CVA

Dr. Leslie Ann Jones, DVM/MVB/CVA is originally from Water Mill, New York and she found her way to Richmond via a rather circuitous route. She did her undergraduate work at Randolph-Macon Woman's College in Lynchburg, VA, and then she pursued a marine biology degree at Long-Island University, Southampton College. Dr. Jones was subsequently invited to attend University College-Dublin Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Dublin, Ireland. After five years on the Emerald Isle, and two years in upstate New York, she has found her way back 'home', to Virginia!

Her interests include alternative medicine, dermatology, behavioral medicine and nutrition. In her free time, Dr. Jones can be found in the barn (riding her OTTB, Sugar Smax and working with her rescue foal, Fraser 'The Highlander'), at the beach (swimming, fishing and kayaking), up a mountain (hiking and skiing), or gardening at her home. Her adventures are often shared by Godiva and Dugan, her Australian Shepard and Border Collie, Dugan. She also has three cats, Bailey, who came back from Ireland with Dr. Jones, and Aurora, and Athena, two twin lilac-point Siamese that were orphaned at Woodlake Animal Hospital the summer of 2017.

  • Dr.
    Megan Dayton

I grew up in Yorktown, VA but have lived in Richmond for the past 3 years and love it! I went to undergrad at Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) and received my bachelors in Animal Science. I then made my way to Oklahoma State to pursue my veterinary degree. I enjoyed the mid west but was glad to head back to the East Coast following graduation. My interests include surgery, dentistry, dermatology and preventative care. In my free time I love going to the beach (really anything to do with the water) especially with our labs, gardening and spending time with family and friends. I live in Richmond with Logan, my husband, and our 2 crazy Labradors, Chloe and Neptune.
