Dr. Carr grew up on a small farm in Henryville, IN, where he quickly learned the value of hard work. He graduated from Indiana University in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He then attended Purdue University in 2013, where he received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. During his time at Purdue, Dr. Carr served as student body president of the Veterinary College, represented the university across the country at multiple conventions to help advance and improve veterinary medicine as a whole, and completed the Veterinary Practice Management Program through the Krannert School of Business. Upon graduation in 2017, he was recognized with the Purdue Veterinary Alumni Association’s Senior Leadership Award.
Dr. Carr has a love and passion for veterinary medicine of all species. He prides himself as a versatile veterinarian enjoying both medical and surgical cases alike. He looks forward to his new position at Brookville Road Animal Hospital and the relationships he will form with both patients and clients.
Dr. Carr, like most of the veterinarians at BRAH, enjoys the outdoors. Hiking, fly fishing, marksmanship, trail riding, and competing in rodeo competitions are among his favorite activities. Although, he enjoys nothing more than spending the day with his fiancé, Sierra Murray, their dog Mavis, and their two cats, Wallis and Francis.
