We must first check for underlying disease and if he checks out ok, we can recommend therapies such as environmental enrichment, calming oil diffusers, anti-anxiety medication, and other options.

Q: My cat is losing weight but is eating a lot. Why is she doing that?

A: The three most common diseases in cats that can do this are: Diabetes, Hyperthyroidism, and Kidney Disease. There are other possible issues we would want to rule out also, which we can check for with a blood test.
