Does your dog smell less than fresh? It may be time for a grooming appointment. Did you know that grooming your dog or cat is very important?

- Regular baths help exfoliate the skin and keep the coat healthy.

- Nail trims help the toes to maintain proper shape and avoid painful arthritis.

- It improves the pet to human bond since we will spend more cuddle time with a sweet-smelling friend.

- Don't you feel better when you are clean? Dogs and cats do too!

- Removing ear hair can help avoid ear infections.

- Regular tooth brushing can be an important part of dental care.

- Grooming helps with socialization. Start your pet early so they are excited about going to the groomer. We recommend starting around 8 to 10 weeks of age.

- You can even express your dog's personality with mohawks and special haircuts.

Plan to have your pet groomed every 3 to 4 weeks unless there is an underlying skin condition. If that is the case, we can discuss medicated shampoo and how often to bathe your furry friend.

Did you know there are even special shampoos and conditioners to help whiten your pet's coat and to help with shedding?

You can also pamper your pet with special additions on Spa Day. Ask us about essential oil balm for your pet's foot pads and nose to help with dry crusty skin. We also offer special Swedish massage in the bath to help relax your pet during their stay.
