Middletown Animal Hospital is dedicated to saving animals. This sweet young female was scheduled for euthanasia with Animal Control so we took her in and vaccinated, dewormed, and spayed her pro-bono. Unfortunately her blood test results came back as positive for feline leukemia but negative for heart worm and Fiv. So now we were left with finding a longterm home for a special needs cat.
She could be adopted out to a single cat household where she would be indoor only so as not to spread disease. Or, she could go with another cat if that cat was fully vaccinated for leukemia.
After searching for help The Milo Foundation volunteered to take this sweet girl to live at their sanctuary in Willits. Sheri from MAH drove from Middletown to Ukiah to meet with Evie who would transport her back to the sanctuary.
