My friend you stayed with us until the very end. Even when you where in pain you still tried to comfort us.
Bob you were always there to uplift us when we were down, you loyally stayed by our side, when I had an asthma attack you would alert the family to come to my rescue.
You cheered up Moe any time she needed you, always willing to take an afternoon nap with Daddy. When Moe's blood sugar was low, buddy you would not leave her side until she felt better.
You were John's confidant and decision maker. Not to mention his very first friend and brought him so many smiles and good times.
Bob you were the first decision we made as a couple and you were born the same year we met, you attended all of our functions and stayed with us in hotels, and went on lots of car rides and journeys...
We didn't know your last day was your last day but buddy for once we were able to stay with you, hold you until the very end. This was one of the hardest days of our lives to watch you rest eternally, however you taught us what unconditional love is, and how to love one another.
Your favorite past times were playing ball, eating spaghetti, chewing your rawhides, tennis balls, going for rides and hogging the queen size bed we have..
You will always be in our hearts... until we meet again puppy,
Moe (daddy), Dee (mommy), John ( brother) shadow ( cat sister)...

Your Canine Guardian Angel
I know that you must miss me,
By the tears rolling down your face.
But believe me when I tell you that,
I'm in a very good place.
There are meadows here to run in,
And plenty of rabbits to chase.
There are other dogs to play with,
To frolic with and race.
So please don't worry about me,
My spirit feels light as can be.
DONNER - 10/28/2011 - 5/4/2015
You’re giving me a special gift, so sorrowfully endowed,
and through these last few cherished days, your courage makes me proud.
But really, love is knowing when your best friend is in pain,
and understanding earthly acts will only be in vain.
So looking deep into your eyes, beyond, into your soul,
I see in you the magic, that will once more make me whole.
The strength that you possess, is why I look to you today,
to do this thing that must be done, for its the only way.
The strength is why I’ve followed you, and chose you as my friend,
and why I’ve loved you all these years… my partner ‘till the end.
Please understand just what this gift, you’re giving, means to me,
It gives me back the strength I’ve lost, and all my dignity.
You take a stand on my behalf, for that is what friends do.
And know that what you do is right, for I believe it too.
So one last time, I breathe your sent, and through your hand I feel,
the courage that’s within you, to now grant me this appeal.
Cut the leash that holds me here, dear friend, and let me run.
Once more a strong and steady dog, my pain and struggle done.
And don’t despair my passing, for I won’t be far away.
Forever here, within your heart, and memory I’ll stay.
I’ll be there watching over you. Your ever faithful friend,
and in your memories I’ll run, a young dog once again!

Oh, Lord creator of this magnificent word.
We have spent many years together, but now we will travel separate paths.
He has been a good, faithful, loving and forgiving friend, much more than we could have expected.
He has worked hard to please us over the years. His life has turned into more struggle than comfort.
It is time to let him have the rest he has justly earned and deserves.
Lord, you have blessed us with Barney.
Please accept him back, bless him and hold him in your loving peace.

Lammie was brought to us by Vicky's Pet Connection five short years ago. He
had been found as a stray so matted that even his mouth was matted shut. He
was so severely dehydrated he couldn't even stand up. His kidneys had
failed due to the dehydration. It took many days and nights of nursing care
to get him back. Lammie and I forged quite a friendship during his stay and
I am proud to say I was one of the select few who received elusive Lambo
kisses. His wonderful moms, Deb and Terry have taken such amazing care of
him over these years. Together we helped him beat the odds! He was truly
one of a kind and would sit with me in my office helping me type whenever
he was here. Goodbye gentle Lammie.

"Reagan" Bottrall
Your passing was such a shock.
We'll always remember how you lived your life with such unending joy.
Everyone who met you was touched by your loving spirit.
"Lambie" Lambchop Berry
Our precious little blessing was released from our arms, and his pain, on Monday, May 25, 2009. He suffered greatly at the hands of puppy mill owners for many years, but God guided him to us. When he came to us he was in such a sad, fearful state; but together we healed and for the next five years we were all taught great lessons of love and trust. We look toward that wonderful day when we will be together and with great joy we will hold your tender body in our arms, feel the softness of your fur, gaze into your gentle eyes and feel the warmth of your loving heart again. You will be so sadly missed, and my little lamb know that you are so greatly loved forever and ever.
"Tulip" Leutscher
Our little girl Tulip has returned to pure Spirit. She was 16 years old, a wonderful cat and our close friend. We love you, little one, and will miss you.

"Tessa" Halstead
Tessa will be missed by her loving family
"Lucky" Monsma
You will live in our hearts always. We miss your purrs and snuggles. You are loved and dearly missed.
"Lucy" Frazier
The sadness my heart is now feeling can't compare to all the joy my baby brought to my life during the past 15 years. She was so much more than just a pet, Lucy was family, my baby. Thanks for all the support and hugs from friends, family and co-workers.

"Jamie" Streeter
Jamie will be sadly missed by all who had contact with him and will be greatly missed and loved by us forever.
"Sunny"
She was everyone's little Mother Hen. She mothered Lamby and mothered her little dollys. She suffered and survived the puppy mills, to come to us for a few years. You taught us many lessons about acceptance and love. You were such a beautiful blessing to us, sweet Sunny, you will be so sadly missed, and loved forever.
"Beau" Jefferson
The notion of getting a pet, after 19 years of marriage and 16 years as a parent without one, actually came as a whim. Being married to a husband with very high functioning autism, and in turn as well as the lovely wonders of genetics, having two of my three children with the same condition, I felt it unfair and inhumane to have another living soul under my roof and responsibility… until Beau.
I'm allergic to cats but I began to think that a little exposure would likely help, so while returning home from one of my daughter Olivia's many artistic lessons, I mentioned that it might be neat to look into a kitten, as an incentive reward for her practice and ambition towards such worthwhile artistry. It took her a total of 5 seconds flat to locate Pet Finder and little "Jolly" - the runt of a litter of kittens with their "Mama" who were rescued and waiting for adoption. It was love at first sight, and as soon as Safe Harbor opened back up for the next week, "Jolly" became "Beau" and a significant part of our family, as our firstborn pet. We eagerly anticipated the "welcoming" all throughout last Holiday season as he was under a pound when we first met him, and needed to be at least 2 lbs before the adoption regime of neutering, and vaccinations and paperwork could be fulfilled. We visited as many times as we could and Beau grew faster and feistier than his siblings and went home in early January to a big and VERY intentional "to do". He was SO loved, and from the start, had oodles of attention and "socializing" - especially at PetSmart, as we eagerly and happily stocked up on new cat supplies and "extras" - because and of course, who could resist spoiling him as he NEVER acted the part?!
We soon brought home his "Mama" and fostered her for a few months while her new owners prepared for her homecoming. Beau and Mama loved each other and it was SO hard for us to let her go to her rightful owners…so, sooner than later, we adopted a little playmate for Beau from Safe Harbor, a Snowshoe Siamese mix, Sampson, who we renamed Sky Hamilton - because he looks like a fluffy white cloud with a gray, brown tail, with "Sky" blue eyes - and though Beau was more than a bit territorial for the first couple of hours, they grew to become great friends.
We enjoyed another 6 months with Beau, while he, and his "rascal" brother Sky, took over the basement, and found many ways to "get into" everything, no matter how organized and "cat proof" I made it. They definitely moved in and made themselves at home, very quickly. I was always so worried they would get into something that could harm them, but did my best to keep nothing harmful within their reach (hard to do with Beau's leopard-like features and abilities!).
In the mean time we adopted a rescued puppy from Safe Harbor - a Shih tzu, Terrier mix named Muttley who was hit by a car and abandoned - who we renamed "Sandy" because she reminds us of little orphan Annie's doggie named Sandy . She immediately demanded a LOT of my attention, and freaked out the cats in her constant excitement, especially Sky, who developed a nasty eye infection which took 3 weeks to mend…hence the temporary move of both kittens to the basement.
Beau's passing was an accident, through and through. Within dealing with our oldest daughter's unusual living arrangement in response to her autism, Beau (at some unknown point in time early in the week) swallowed one of Aarons' toy Nerf gun "darts" - or part of it - and got really sick. We waited through the weekend, even after he was clearly dangerously dehydrated, and took him to Safe Harbor first thing Monday, who quickly rushed him into their compassionate care, and gave him emergency surgery after rehydrating him to remove the spongy blue item from his intestines, which had already wreaked havoc there.
He recovered remarkably well, and we brought him home for a day which, in retrospect, was a pleasant last visit with him, after which he developed a reaction to medication and by late evening he started acting very strange and having seizures. This continued through the night and into the morning- as we got little or no sleep that night. Sadly, the emergency clinic on call did not encourage us to bring him in even though this could have helped him. This continued until the morning when I rushed him back to Dr. Smith . She kept him comfortable, IV'd him to try to limit the seizures, and continued the vigil until all hope was drained and we made the decision to euthanize him.
Talk about grief! Beau Jefferson was a part of our family, and a very significant one at that. He was my therapy… totally unconditional. I loved him. We loved him.
Our last goodbyes were just riddled with sorrow and tears. Ouch, my eyes still hurt. I just KNOW Beau has a soul, his purpose is completed, and he is happy and frolicking now.
…in a better place.
I miss him. We miss him. We truly believe he is resting in peace now.
Good-bye with lots of love and cuddles and belly rubs and kisses our beloved Beau Jefferson!
From your whole family:
Jon Anthony, Melissa Louise, Emily Grace (living apart from us), Olivia Joy, Aaron Jon, Sandy Elizabeth -the doggie, Sky Hamilton - your best friend and kitty, and lastly and newest, Kalidiscope - the goldfish (in a filtered tank btw)
"Dusty" Altemari
In memory of my Dusty. He was with us for 16 happy years. You will forever be in our hearts.
"Garth"
Remembering Garth, the cat with the big personality. Such a handsome boy - how he loved to be photographed. He always posed like a supermodel. He will be gone two years in November.
"Joey" Wattles 1998 - 2012
Never was there a dog that was happier, and showed his love and happiness to all who came in contact with him. To know him was to love him...For Joe, there were no strangers - just good friends he hadn't met, yet...
Though we miss him terribly, we have great memories of a great companion and friend!
With much love,
His family: Nancy, Dave, Katie, Chris and his dog buddy, Marley
"Panzy" Fritz 2004 - 2013
My sweet, loving, trusting lap cat. Our time together was too short.
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
