DrsDrs. Aaron and Samantha Maberry

Dr. Aaron is originally from a small farm in Dawn, MO. He grew up loving animals and knew from an early age he wanted to be a veterinarian.  He was heavily involved in 4-H/FFA throughout his high school years at Tina-Avalon, showing market steers and heifers.

Dr. Samantha grew up on a large cattle farm in Green Castle, MO and attended high school in Novinger. Her family raised hogs until she was thirteen and bred Quarter Horses alongside their cattle herd. She too was very involved in 4-H/FFA, showing market hogs and steers. She knew she wanted to be a veterinarian after watching her family vet on the farm.

Dr. Aaron and Dr. Samantha met at the University of Missouri during their freshmen year of undergraduate studies. They both were majoring in Animal Science and both had a love of animals and country life. They dated throughout the four years of undergrad and were married after both graduated with honors with a Bachelor’s of Science in Animal Science. They entered the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in the same class in the fall of 2010.

Throughout their veterinary studies, Dr. Aaron and Dr. Samantha wanted to eventually open their own mixed animal veterinary clinic. Once their daughter, Grace, was born in December 2013, they decided to make that dream a reality. Both wanted to raise their growing family in the rural agricultural community where Dr. Aaron was from. Thus, Carroll County Veterinary Services was established in 2014. Both look forward to becoming involved in the community and making this their forever home. When they are not in the clinic, they enjoy spending time with Grace and their family. Dr. Aaron and Dr. Samantha have 2 dogs, Abby and Hope; 2 cats, Alice and Lucy; Buddy, a 12 year old Quarter Horse gelding; and a small cattle herd.
