Jesse Wickstrom is our Veterinary Office Assistant at Main Street Animal Hospital in North Vancouver and has been a vital part of our team since 2021. She grew up surrounded by animals on an East Coast farm, igniting her aspiration to become a veterinary doctor, a career path that perfectly aligns with our mission at Main Street Animal Hospital. These early experiences have not only shaped her exceptional ability to connect with injured animals but have also fueled her dedication to enhancing animal health care.
Currently, Jesse is pursuing her dream by studying Applied Biology at Athabasca University, an important step on her journey to obtaining her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM). Her passion for veterinary medicine has found a particular interest in radiology, an area where she lends her skills and energy to our daily operations.
In her personal life, Jesse shares a heartwarming bond with her cat, Charlotte. They often embark on outdoor adventures together, with Charlotte exploring her surroundings on a leash. This personal connection to animal welfare complements Jesse's professional pursuits, affirming her commitment to our cause. Jesse’s compassionate nature, ambitious spirit, and educational pursuits make her an instrumental part of delivering exceptional veterinary care in North Vancouver through MainStreet Animal Hospital.
