Dr.
Kelly Juergensen
Veterinarian/ Practice Owner

Raised in the Cascade/Forest Hills area, Dr. Kelly Juergensen is proud to call Grand Rapids home. Since childhood, she has always known that she wanted to work with animals. She was drawn to the amazing diversity in the animal world and the powerful connection between people and animals. After finishing school at Michigan State University, She started her training in emergency and critical care medicine.

Her time working in emergency and critical care medicine was an extraordinary experience. She is grateful for the opportunity she had to learn in that setting. Ultimately, she knew that she wasn’t meant for that kind of life. She wanted to have to opportunity to get to know her patients and their owners better. She believes in the importance of comprehensive care when addressing wellness, behavior, medicine and emergency needs.

Ada Hospital for Animals has been the perfect home for Dr. Juergensen. Nestled right in her neck of the woods, she feels blessed to be able to serve the families of her community. She has found that in knowing her pet owner’s better, she is able to provide the best care to her pet patients. Watching animals throughout their lifetime has been a gift. She has developed a special interest in the care of senior/aging pets. As her training continues, she hopes to be able to provide more ways to serve this population better. Please know that her goal is to provide your family with options to fit your wishes and needs. Medicine is an art and a practice and therefore should be modified for the individual person
and pet.
