  • Dr. Jon Henderson

I was born and raised in Northeastern Oklahoma at Ft. Gibson. I was raised on a small farm running horses and cattle. In school I participated in 4-H, FFA and Rodeo. I graduated from Ft. Gibson in 1991 then went on to attend NEO A+M in Miami where I received my Associate of Arts in 1993. Then I transferred to OSU where I received my B.S. in Animal Science in1996 and my DVM in 1999. After Graduation, my 1st Veterinarian job was at St. Frances Pet Hospital in Indianapolis, Mooresville, and Centerton Indiana where I practiced small animal and Equine for 2 years.

In 2001 I moved back to Oklahoma in Anadarko where I practiced mixed animal medicine for 23 years. While there I met the love of my life Sherri in 2005 and we started our family. We were blessed with four sons: Michael our 1st born, the twins Johnathan + Gabriel and then Matthew. We have three dogs Ruger, Bailey, Copper and enjoy Rodeoing (bareback riding where I was a would be a sorry bareback rider), hunting with the boys and fishing.
