Veterinary Nurse

Jordana has been working as a Veterinary nurse at Cambie animal hospital since 2016; she was born and raised in Vancouver until the age of nine years old and soon after moved to Ireland. Although she has always had a love of animals; it is there that she found a passion for animal care when she began horse riding. It was not long before she was at the stables every weekend riding and helping to care for the horses and other resident animals. Since moving back to Vancouver at age 15 she began researching more about animal care careers and decided to pursue a career in veterinary medicine after high school. Jordana is also certified in animal psychology, oiled wildlife rehabilitation, shelter medicine and animal nutrition. At home she can be found spending time with her dog and two cats, and in her spare time she enjoys volunteering actively with multiple local rescues such as Vancouver orphan kitten rescue and The Vancouver Aquariums marine mammal rescue centre.
