Dr. Keri Hicks was raised in Trussville, Alabama and graduated from Hewitt-Trussville High School in 1994. She then attended Mississippi State University and graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. Dr. Hicks has been practicing veterinary medicine since 2001. Dr. Hicks and her husband Jon, live in Leeds with their son Joseph who was born in September of 2014. They also have a dog named Maggie and two cats named Newman and Bella.

Jon also grew up in Trussville, Alabama and graduated from Hewitt-Trussville High School in 1990 and served in the U.S. Army from 1991 until 1997. He has been married to his wife Keri since 2010. In addition to his office duties, Jon will also occasionally fill in as a veterinary assistant.

Maggie is a chocolate Labrador Retriever whose hobbies include playing catch, eating and sleeping! She was adopted by Dr. Hicks in 2012 after an injury required amputating one of her front legs. It hasn’t slowed her down a bit though. She runs and jumps with the best of them!
