At Bel-Aire Veterinary Hospital we strive to use the safest anesthesia available. Most of our surgery patients are given a mild sedative injection prior to being placed on gas anesthesia and oxygen by way of intubation. Monitoring the patients heart rate and blood pressure throughout the procedure is our standard.
