Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist
Ruth started working here when she was in high school. She has worked her way from the kennels to being a versatile employee throughout the hospital. She is detail oriented and loves to please the clients and their pets. She is only working part time while she is busy taking care of her 3 young children. We are counting on her coming back when the kids are in school.
Lead Receptionist/Vet. Assistant
Ashley started with us as a kennel assistant in August 2009. She quickly worked up to veterinary assistant/receptionist. She spent her childhood on her family's horse farm in Madison, NC. Her love for animals guided her into the veterinary profession. She obtained her veterinary assistant certificate in 2010. Ashley lives In Stokesdale with her husband and son. They have 3 dogs and a horse. In her spare time she enjoys camping, horseback riding, church activities, and spending time with her family.
Leslie
Receptionist
From a background in the apparel industry she decided she needed a career change. Her love for animals influenced her decision to go into the veterinary field. With a strong history in customer service and and desire to meet new people becoming a receptionist at a veterinary hospital seemed like the perfect fit! Leslie was born and raised in Lexington, NC and moved to the Greensboro area in 1977. She went to college at UNCG where she obtained a Bachelors of Science degree. She loved the area so much so decided to stay and make her home here. Leslie has 2 children and a grandson that she loves spending time with. In her free time (if she ever gets any!) she likes to do zumba and travel. She is looking forward to meeting each of our clients and building relationships with them and their babies!
Kennel Technician
Miriam moved with her family to North Carolina from Pennsylvania in 1975. She has adapted well to the southern way of life and sometimes breaks with a little southern drawl. She graduated from high school and attended UNC-G in the late 80's and early 90's. She has worked in animal care for over a decade. She likes to get to know all the animals that board with us and their individual quirks. Miriam has a great love for art and music. She is responsible for many of our arts and crafts projects.
