Thank you for trusting Seneca Animal Hospital to be your other family doctor!
He did his undergraduate studies at Morehead State University in Kentucky and received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University in 1997. Dr. Moore opened SAH in 2001 and moved it to our current location in 2008. He has held five different positions on the executive board for the South Carolina Association of Veterinarians, including president, and is currently the alternate delegate for South Carolina to the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). He also serves on the Advisory Committee to the Veterinary Technician Program at Tri-County Technical College (TCTC) and is Chairman of the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) at TCTC. Dr. Moore is passionate about making sure SAH keeps up with latest diagnostics and treatments and making them available to our clients. He is one of few veterinarians in the area that can and will provide care for all animals; canine, feline, exotic, avian, reptile, equine, bovine, and the list goes on.
The Moore family has had a variety of animal family members over the years, including many cats, dogs, and a chameleon. When not busy with clinic, Dr. Moore enjoys catching frogs, toads, and lightening bugs with his two children, fishing and other outdoor activities, Crossfit, and, more recently, learning the art of longbow archery. He is an active member and teacher at the Seneca Church of Christ and participates in annual mission campaigns. The last several mission trips lead Dr. Moore to India and Panama. While in Panama, he led a veterinary team to instruct the cattle ranchers on vaccination, deworming and illness prevention protocols.
