Dr. Matthew Bennett received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2014 from the University of Georgia after having received his undergraduate degree from Clemson University majoring in Animal Veterinary Sciences. Dr. Bennett started his veterinary career in 2006 and has treated a wide variety of species since this time. Dr. Bennett chose to join the SAH family in August of 2018, because of Seneca Animal Hospital's mission to provide the highest quality healthcare for your family.
Dr. Paul Black was born in Morristown, NJ before moving to Rochester. NY at age 13. He attended Cornell University where he received his Bachelors in Agriculture & Life Sciences. He graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine with his DMV in 1982. Dr. Black held the position of President & CEO of MVA (Monroe Veterinary Associates) from 1996 to his retirement in 2016.
After two enjoyable years of retirement in Salem, SC, Dr. Black is excited to return to the field and assist pet owners in helping their pets live longer, healthier lives.
Rand was born in GA, raised in VA, and has lived throughout the Southeastern United States. He earned a marketing management degree at Virginia Tech. He started at Seneca Animal Hospital as a kennel technician and also served as part of the front office staff, veterinarian assistant, and client coordinator.
Tracy was raised in the outskirts of Burlington, VT and moved to the Golden Corner in 2015. She has been training animals since she was able to halter horses, and completed canine training certification in 2003 along with Veterinary Technician Assistant at Penn Foster Career School.
Kerri was raised in Danielsville, GA. She went to Madison County High School. Kerri now lives in South Carolina with her family. She loves to spend time with her children and play fetch with her dogs. Her favorite hobby is running.
Michelle was raised in Pendleton, South Carolina. She moved to Fair Play 20 years ago. She joined Seneca Animal Hospital in 2015 with over 10 years experience in customer service management. She has 4 cats, 1 dog and a bunny. In her spare time she enjoys listening to music and spending time with her family. Michelle enjoys working and making a difference in human and animal lives.
Beverly grew up in Anderson, SC. She went to T.C. Williams High School. Beverly has owner all different types of animals, from dogs, cats, horses, cows, fish, hamster, etc! Her favorite part about working in a veterinary clinic is getting to be around the animals. She loves to spend her spare time with her children and grandchildren.
Abby moved here from Anderson, SC 12 years ago. She is a graduate of Seneca High School and graduated from Tri-County Technical College with an associates in Veterinary Technology. After graduation, Abby passed the state boards designating her as a Licensed Veterinary Technician.
Kailey was raised in Six mile, SC. She graduated from Tri-County Tech with her Vet Tech degree. Kailey loves animals and dedicating her life to them. They have made her a better human; they taught her love, patience, loyalty & beauty.
Bre came to Seneca Animal Hospital from Moncks Corner, SC. She graduated from Clemson with a Bachelors in Science for Animal and Veterinary Science, concentration Pre-Veterinary Medicine. Since graduation, she has continued her journey to Veterinarian by studying for her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia. from the University of Georgia. Becoming a mixed animal veterinarian in South Carolina keeps her focused!
Jessica was raised in York, SC. She graduated from Clemson University with a bachelors in Animal & Pre-Veterinary Science in 2017.
Mikayla joined our practice in July of 2018. She was raised in Westminster, SC and graduated from West Oak High School. Her favorite hobby is the rodeo, and loves to partake and watch. Her favorite part about working in the clinic is being able to help the animals.
In July 2018, Erin came to work at Seneca Animal Hospital. She started her career in the animal field during January 2017. She is currently attending Tri County Tech. Erin was raised in Easley, SC.
Jeremiah joined Seneca Animal Hospital in August of 2018. He was raised in Parkersburg, WV. He graduated from Parkersburg South High School. Jeremiah's favorite hobby is showing horses with the PHBA & AQHA.
Shannon started working at Seneca Animal Hospital in August 2018. She grew up in Seneca, SC and is currently in the Tri-County Vet Tech program. Shannon loves making crafts and crocheting in her spare time.
Natalie started her career working with animals in 2016. She joined our team in August 2018 and is excited to see what we have to offer her. She grew up in Loganville, GA. Her favorite hobby is drawing with her animals.
Kayla was raised in Walhalla, SC. She graduated from Walhalla High School. She enjoys horseback riding and the rodeo! She owns horses, cats, dogs and goats. Her favorite part of veterinary clinics is meeting new people and seeing new animals.
Sam has worked at Seneca Animal Hospital since November of 2014. She has worked in several areas of the clinic and is an asset to our team. Sam was raised in Illinois. Her favorite hobby is whippet racing!
Ashley grew up in New York and moved to South Carolina in 2014. She found SAH because she has always had a passion to work with and around animals. Even though her background was in Psychology, she realized her true calling was to work with animals, so she made the switch! The animal field gives her so much fulfillment and happiness.
Ashley Blevins was born in Pinellas County Florida. She move to South Carolina, and has lived in the area for 23 years. She has worked with animals for 10 years and plans to continue her career and education in the animal field for years to come.
Anna Phillips grew up in Salem, SC. She lives on a farm and cares for all types of animals. She just graduated from Walhalla High School and is going to UNC in Charlotte for Nursing and AIr Force ROTC. Anna loves animals and staying active.
Kassi was raised in Dillon, SC. She moved here to attend Clemson University to study animal science. She hopes to become a certified veterinary technician one day. Kassi is a huge animal lover, she has a shih tzu/poodle mix. She loves the outdoors and enjoys playing frisbee with her dog.
