Convenient House Call Services

Serving Montgomery County since 1982

When Dr. Raymond Craft and Dr. Deborah Dodson opened their doors in 1982, their mission was simple: to provide high quality veterinary care to the residents of Montgomery County, Maryland. Their motto was, "If you can't come to us, we'll come to you!" through the convenience of appointments at our hospital, or evening van locations, or day house calls. Reasonable rates that give every animal the chance to have a happy and healthy life. Whether it be regular check-ups, treating injuries, or preventing illness, we strive to give you and your pet the best services and quality care possible.

In August of 2017 Dr. Craft and Dr. Dodson handed the Petvacx torch to Dr. Rachel K. Wiley and Dr. Samantha L. Hudgins.

"Our founding vision for Petvacx was to provide quality veterinary care in an affordable and convenient way. Now, after thirty-five years of leading Petvacx that we have found them! Drs. Rachel Wiley and Samantha Hudgins will be the new owners of Petvacx. We are thrilled to have two veterinarians of their caliber, experience, and dedication to take over the role of guiding Petvacx into the future."

-Dr. Raymond Craft & Dr. Deborah Dodson

Rachel and Samantha met each other at their previous practice in Garrett County, Maryland, when they practiced as veterinarians for both small animals as well as livestock and horses. It was there that they found that they enjoyed working together and that they share the same values and balance each other well. Rachel and Samantha then set out to find a practice in a diverse community where the top priority is valuing and protecting the bond between animals and their owners.

"We are so excited to bring the creativity and ingenuity we enjoyed so much in mixed animal practice with is as we join the Petvacx family. Drs. Craft and Dodson and the staff will be working alongside of us each step of the way to ensure a smooth transition. We have appreciated though this process that Drs. Craft and Dodson share our core value that respect and compassion for clients, patients and human-animal bond is central. We are so greatful to them and look forward to helping them have more much-deserved time to travel and spend with their family."

-Dr.Rachel Wiley & Dr. Samantha Hudgins

"We treat your pets like the valued family members they are! Thank you for your trust."

-Your Petvacx Family
