Spay And Neuters

An important part of responsible pet ownership is to have your pet spayed or neutered. Beyond the reproductive instinct behavior, this can decrease the chances of certain cancers (testicular and mammary) as well as female infections. Males can experience aggression, inappropriate markings and straying from home when not neutered. Our procedures include pre-anesthetic blood work to make sure you pet is able to safely handle the anesthesia. Further, we use the safest and highest quality anesthesia, IV fluids during the procedure to keep your pet well hydrated to protect their young organs. We believe strongly in pain management and always send home a few days worth of the appropriate pain medication to be administer at home. The procedure is typically same day, with the patient arriving early morning and released after post surgery observation around 4:00 pm.
