Get To Know Our Manager

  • Becky Kuester, LVT
    Manager/Licensed Veterinary Technician

    Becky helped Dr. Anderman open CAH and is proud of how much Creekside has grown! She has been in the field since 2002 starting out as a kennel attendant/veterinary assistant. She graduated from Macomb Community College receiving her Associate Degree of Applied Science, Veterinary Technician in 2005. In 2013, she officially became the practice manager. At home, she has a wonderful husband and two fun, loving little boys. Her furry family includes 2 dogs, Chihuahua Mix Winnie and newest fluffball, a Pomeranian named Lincoln; 3 cats, some fish and  chickens! In her free time, she enjoys fashion, being outdoors and camping, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

  • Meggan Pape

    Meggan joined Creekside in August 2019.  She is excited to start this new chapter and would like to go into the Veterinary technician program in the future.

  • Laura Shagena, CVA
    Certified Veterinary Assistant
    Laura started at CAH during an internship for her Certified Veterinary Assistant program through Ross Medical Education Program in 2016. She is very happy to be pursuing her passion for animals in this field. At home she has a wonderful husband and two young boys that she enjoys spending time with. She has 2 dogs, 2 cats and a rat as well. In her free time she loves missionary work.

  • Jessie Gallagher, CVA
    Certified Veterinary Assistant
    Jessie join Creekside in 2017 after attending Ross Medical Education Center and becoming a Certified Veterinary Assistant. At home, her and her husband David, have 3 dogs named Tiny, Raggs and Lucy, and 1 cat named Anna. In her spare time she enjoys crafting such as needlework and painting, being outdoors biking, gardening and golfing. In her quiet time, Anna may be curled up in her lap while she enjoys her next good book.

Get To Know Our Licensed Veterinary Technicians

  • Andrea Babecki, LVT
    Licensed Veterinary Technician

    Andrea started working with Creekside Animal Hospital in 2013. She attended Ross Medical Education Program and became a Certified Veterinary Assistant.  Since being in the field, Andrea decided to pursue her career further and recently graduated from Baker College of Veterinary Technology and has obtained her Associates of Applied Science Veterinary Technician.  She will be taking her licensing exam this summer.   At home she has two beautiful cats, Pandora and Willow, a rescue Greyhound, Teddy, and African Grey and a rabbit.

  • Nichole Schales, LVT
    Licensed Veterinary Technician
    Nichole is a Licensed Veterinary Technician here at Creekside Animal Hospital since 2011. She graduated from Macomb Community College in 2005, with an Associate of Applied Science, Veterinary Technician. She started in the field as a receptionist in 2002. After all these years, she still absolutely loves working with and helping animals. She has two cats and 1 dog of her own. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, doing art projects, outdoor activities, traveling and playing guitar.

  • Sarah Widzinski, LVT
    Licensed Veterinary Technician
    Sarah has been a member of the Creekside family since 2009. She graduated from Macomb Community College with an Associate of Applied Science, Veterinary Medicine in 2005.

    At home she has two fuzzy hamsters, Bear and Cubby; a Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu mix named Shorty and a Maltese/Shih Tzu mix named Jack. She enjoys spending time outdoors in the sun, going on vacations, jogging and reading.

  • Jenna Raymond
    Veterinary Technician

    Jenna joined Creekside in September 2017. At home she has a variety of rescued pets! She has 3 Pitbulls named Gunner, Brodie,  and Dinah and a feral Doberman/Shepherd mix named Nora, Midas her cat and 3 birds, Hector, Skippy and Yetta. Jenna takes special interest in wildlife rehabilitation, neonatal care and behavior/aggression cases. She also has been involved in Pitbull advocacy and rescue as well as feral dog rehabilitation for about 10 years. In her free time, she enjoys motorsports and off road vehicles, spending time with her husband and two stepsons, camping, exploring outdoors and crafting.


  • Jessica Sargent, LVT
    Licensed Veterinary Technician
    Jess has been a licensed veterinary technician since 2004. Animals have always been a big part of her life and she currently has 4 cats and 1 dog at home. Jess has affectionately gotten the reputation of being the cat whisperer throughout her career. At home she also has 3 human cubs that she cares for. In her free time, Jess enjoys excising and being active, but makes sure to find time for relaxing by the fire with a good book.

  • Nicole Wisner, LVT
    Licensed Veterinary Technician

    Nicole joined Creekside In May 2019.  She is a graduate of Baker College with an Associate Degree of Applied Science Veterinary Technician. 

  • Lisa Randall, LVT
    Licensed Veterinary Technician

    Lisa joined Creekside Animal Hospital in July 2019.  She graduated from Macomb Community College with her degree Associate of Veterinary Technician.  Her favorite area of veterinary medicine is working with in the laboratory.

  • Gail Opalewski
    Receptionist
    Gail joined CAH in 2013 as a receptionist and has been in the field since 2002. At home she has two beautiful Border Collie rescue dogs, Tess and Ruger and a little blue Budgie named Bueller.

  • Mandy Havrilla
    Receptionist

    Mandy has been with Creekside since 2012.  She loves to be part of the 'front line' and share with you her friendly sense of humor.  She has two adorable Boston Terriers, Tucker and Tootsie, and 3 wonderful children.  In her free time she enjoys shopping and going to her kids sporting events. 


  • Shannon Galloway
    Receptionist

    Shannon joined Creekside in July 2017.  She is one of the friendly faces you will see when coming into Creekside.  Shannon is also a Licensed Veterinary Technician.  At home she has a wonderful husband and two children, who she loves to spend her time with.
