In 2015, WGVC joined our friends from The Canberra Mob to provide animal healthcare to
remote Indigenous communities in Utopia, north of Alice Springs.
Twice a year we send a Vet and a Nurse to join a team who travel through these communities to desex and provide parasite protection to as many dogs and cats as possible.
It has been a very rewarding experience for all who have participated so far, and we hope to continue making these trips to provide the care needed.
You can help the The Indigenous Dog Health Program continue this important work through donations or purchases of Indigenous art collected from the communities we visit.
Please ask us for details.
