Parkway Veterinary Hospital was established in 1986. Our goal is to provide the highest quality medical and surgical care possible. Our staff actively attends continuing education courses in order to stay abreast of the latest advancements in the veterinary field. Parkway Veterinary Hospital has two convenient offices to better serve you, one located in Cape May Court House and the other located in Marmora.

  • Dr.
    David Hirsch, DVM
    Veterinarian, DVM

    Dr. David Hirsch, a native of Royal Oak, Michigan, earned his undergraduate degree in natural sciences from Michigan State University. His affinity for animals and people and his love of science led him to Michigan State's College of Veterinary Medicine, where he graduated in 1983. Three years later, he founded Parkway Veterinary Hospital.     Over the years, Dr. Hirsch has expanded his approach in veterinary medicine to include chiropractic and acupuncture.  In 2001, he became certified by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association, followed by certification in acupuncture in 2002 and herbology in 2007, both from the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Reddick, Florida.Dr. Hirsch also earned his Master of Science Degree in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine at the Chi Institute, where he occasionally teaches acupuncture and spinal manipulation.     Dr. Hirsch loves the water, and when not working or teaching, he can be found scuba diving, open water swimming, fishing, kayaking, and traveling. He has a pug, Coleman, and 2 domestic shorthaired cats, Jack and Mugsy.

    Ashley Fancher

       Dr. Ashley Fancher was 5 years old when she knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. A New Jersey native from Cape May County, she earned her Bachelor of Science  degree with minors in biology and chemistry from Virginia’s Ferrum College in 2008, followed by a  Master of Public Health degree from the University of Missouri in 2014. Dr. Fancher graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts, West Indies in 2018. Soon afterward she proudly joined the staff of doctors at Parkway Vets, where she had worked as a veterinary technician since 2007.
        Dr. Fancher has strong interests in surgery, medicine, exotics, and client education. She is Fear Free Certified, dedicated to creating a positive experience for pets with an approach that reduces  and eliminates  fear, anxiety and stress during their veterinary visits.
       In her free time, Dr. Fancher enjoys kiteboarding, kayaking, and spending time with her dogs Roxy, a Labrador retriever, and Karma, a coconut retriever.

    Kira Ernst, DVM
    Veterinarian, DVM

    Dr. Kira Ernst was drawn to veterinary medicine through a lifelong interest in science and a love of animals. Born in New York City, she received her Bachelor of Science degree with honors in zoology at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.  She then attended Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2012 and joining Parkway Veterinary Hospital in June of that year.     Dr. Ernst particularly enjoys internal medicine and dermatology. She has one dog, a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever named Laska. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.

    Chris Grant, DVM
    Veterinarian, DVM

    Dr. Christopher Grant was raised in northern New Jersey and always had a love of animals. He graduated from the University of Maryland with a pre-veterinary major in animal science before going on to the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 1990. He joined Parkway Veterinary Hospital in March of 2010.
       Dr. Grant enjoys all aspects of his chosen profession. When he has some free time, he likes to spend it fishing, working on cars, and singing karaoke. He has 2 American Bulldogs, Aspen and John Henry, and 2 cats, Simon and Nicola.

    Clifford Mosson, VMD
    Veterinarian, VMD

    Dr. Cliff Mosson's love of animals and science led him to his career in veterinary medicine. A native of Vermont, he earned his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of Vermont, and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. He joined Parkway Veterinary Hospital in August of that same year.   Dr. Mosson has strong interests in orthopedic surgery and dermatology, and a passion for feline medicine. He's known among staff and clients as The Cat Whisperer for his ability to put many a cat at ease in the exam room.  In his free time, Dr. Mosson likes to hit the links and explore warm climates. His pets include 4 cats and 1 squirrel.
