Scheduling your pets yearly check-up is an important part of preventative health. If your pet is over seven years old we should see them every six months. When you come in for an appointment it will include a full physical exam, as well as any required lab work, diagnostics or guidance you need. Pets cant speak to us and are great at hiding how they are feeling, that is why we recommend checking their blood, urine and fecal samples as a very important part of their health screening.
Bring in any medical history you have of your pet when you come to our vet clinic. It's best to keep a journal of your pet's health throughout his or her life, including behavioral shifts.
