Microchipping
Millions of lost or abandoned animals are relinquished each year by animal welfare organizations in the United States. Due to a lack of identification, only a very small percentage of those animals are reunited with their loving families. Microchipping and registration offer the only true permanent method of identifying your pet. Collars and tags can be removed, and a tattoo can become illegible as your pet ages. If you want to reduce your beloved pets chances of being needlessly euthanized and instead improve his or her chances of being returned to you in a lost pet emergency, microchipping and registration are the best solution. Noise Aversion
Many dogs suffer from noise aversion, things like vacuums, thunderstorms, etc. The below link is a great page on check list to help owners know if their pets suffer from noise aversion and if medication would be helpful, especially as we are headed into thunderstorm seasons and fireworks fourth of July
