We can help diagnose and manage these conditions in your pets, often using the tools and treatments within our clinic. If a condition does require specialist attention, we have great relationships with a variety of local specialists to find your pet the best care!
In-house and Reference Laboratory Testing
Our in-house lab analyzers can run most blood, urine, and fecal samples right here at the clinic, getting you answers within minutes. For special tests, we can also send to several outside laboratories.
Diagnostic Imaging
We use digital radiology to obtain the clearest x-ray images within seconds. In-house ultrasound allows us to check for fluid in the abdomen or thorax, as well as assess the bladder for stones or masses. For complete abdominal ultrasound or echocardiograph, we have travelling radiology, internal medicine, and cardiac specialists that come to our clinic, so you and your pet will be in a familiar place during a stressful time.
Dentistry
Oral exams and dental cleanings are recommended annually for most adult pets. At your annual wellness visit, we can assess your pet's teeth to determine if a dental cleaning is recommended. The dental cleaning is performed under anesthesia, as this is the safest option for your pet! This allows us to protect your pet's airway with a breathing tube and monitor all of their vitals from start to finish. We take full mouth digital dental x-rays, perform a thorough scaling and polishing, then examine each tooth individually for any disease. If any extractions are required, that can often be performed in the same visit, without the need for another anesthetic event.
Soft Tissue Surgery
Our doctors have extensive experience in elective, routine, and emergent soft tissue surgeries. From spays, neuters, and mass removals, to bladder stone removal, amputations, and exploratory surgery, we are equipped and ready to provide the best possible surgical care for your pet.
