Pet Microchipping

MicroChipping is NOT A GPS System! The microchip is an internal identification for your animal. If an unknown kitten/cat, puppy/dog  (regardless of age) is brought in to VVC or an animal shelter a microchip scan will be performed. If a microchip number is detected, VVC or the shelter will contact the microchip company and that company will then inform you.  Microchipping is easily performed in an exam room with no sedation needed.  If you have any questions, please ask any staff member or click here for more information.
