Westside Veterinary Center has been an accredited member of the American Animals Hospital Association (AAHA) since 1988 and has voluntarily sought and achieved this accreditation through an evaluation process that measures hospitals by more than 900 standards.

Your Pet is never alone at Westside.

Our highly trained Veterinary Technicians are on the premises 24 hours a day to care for hospitalized patients and to handle emergency calls. There is always a Doctor on-call to handle emergencies after hours.

Vet Appointments

Westside operates on an appointment basis. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability.We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening, but you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment. Our veterinarians will work to squeeze in a "walk-in" or "unscheduled visit" between scheduled appointments. These Walk-ins are welcomed, however waiting times can not be guaranteed, as preference will be given to our scheduled appointments.

New Cancellation Policy

Westside Veterinary Center is committed to providing all of our patients with exceptional care. When patients cancel without giving enough notice, they prevent other patients from being seen. We therefore ask that if you must cancel your appointment, you provide more than 24 hour notice. This will enable another patient who is waiting for an appointment to be scheduled in that slot. Failing to cancel an appointment will result in a No Show Fee of $50.00

Emergency & Urgent Pet Care

Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet during normal office hours, please call us so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency, then proceed to our hospital accordingly. 

Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, followed by patients with scheduled appointments.

For after-hour emergencies. please call our office and speak to our 24 hour veterinary technicians who will page the doctor on your behalf.  The doctor will return your call and make arrangements to meet you at our hospital.

Payment Options at Westside Veterinary Center

So that we can continue to provide you high quality service utilizing the best medical technologies, we request that payment be made at the time services are rendered.

Westside Veterinary Center accepts payment via MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, Care Credit, cash or checks. (Checks are only accepted from established clients.)

We provide estimates for all surgeries and hospitalizations. If you have not received an estimate, you are welcome to request one at any time for your expected charges.
