RONALD L. LOTT, DVM
Dr. Lott, a native of East Texas, attended Texas A&M University where he received two Bachelor of Science degrees—one in animal science and one in veterinary science. He also attended veterinary school at Texas A&M and graduated with honors from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. Upon graduation, he began mixed animal practice at Ward Animal Hospital in Nacogdoches. He later moved to Southwood Drive Animal Clinic in Lufkin, Texas where he also practiced veterinary medicine on numerous species. In 2000, he took a position at Pearland Animal Hospital in Pearland, Texas where he focused exclusively on small animal medicine and surgery. He also worked as a relief veterinarian at multiple Pet’s Choice 24-hour emergency hospitals in the Houston area. In July of 2002, he and his wife, Stephanie, purchased Appleby Sand Road Animal Clinic and moved their family back to Nacogdoches.
Dr. Lott uses a practical, analytical approach to medicine to diagnose his patients and makes every effort to effectively communicate with his clients about their pet’s health.

GWEN - ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Gwen grew up in Houston and moved to Garrison in 1992. She graduated from Garrison High School in 1996 and Panola College with her Associate of Science. She always wanted to be a Veterinarian and being with animals has always been a passion. She worked for the City of Nacogdoches Animal Shelter from 1999-2006. In late 2006, she left the animal shelter to enter the veterinarian technician world. She is married and has a daughter, son and a grandson. With the shelter back ground, she enjoys being a mom to 8 dogs, 5 cats, 4 hermit crabs, a guinea pig and many chickens. In her spare time, she loves to take pictures of nature and spend time outdoors with her husband and the kids.
CICI, LEAD TECH, CVA I
Cici’s roots originate in deep east Texas, however, completed her schooling in the suburbs of Dallas. She quickly returned to the pineywoods where she found her passion as a veterinary technician. She has been blessed with 7 years in the profession and hopes to invest many more in the future. Outside of the clinic, she spends her extra time with her rowdy toddler son and two dogs.
STEPHANIE, CVA I
Stephanie grew up in East Texas and graduated from Stephen F. Austin with a degree in Animal Science. She knew from a very early age that she wanted to have a career in the veterinary field and has been a technician for the past 8 years. Stephanie is a mom to a sweet baby boy and enjoys spending her extra time with him and her husband. Stephanie has two dogs and three cats and embraces the busy lifestyle that involves! Stephanie loves meeting new pets, and people and can't wait to take care of all of your fur kids needs!
HANNAH, TECH ASSISANT
Hannah is currently a senior at SFA studying Animal Science. She plans to graduate in December and pursue a Master's Degree in the same field. She lives in Martinsville with her family as well as their many dogs, cows, and horses. In her free time she enjoys reading, drawing, crafting, and spending time with her family. She is new to the veterinary world, but is excited to jump in!
ALISHA, CVA I
Alisha grew up in West and North Texas as a kid, but lived in Houston after that for 20 years. She moved to Timpson with her two small kiddos in 2015 to be closer to her retired parents. She started working at vet clinics as a high school student just prior to graduating in '99, then gradually gained experience over the years as a technician. Although this is Alisha's first time "living" in East Texas, her grandparents were from DeKalb, so she has many childhood memories of the area. Now that she has two little ones of her own, she enjoys watching them explore the outdoors and catch bugs! They also love going to the movies together and spending time at home with their cats and a dog. Her 6yr old daughter loves messy art and her 8yr old son loves video games, so Alisha is re-learning how to be a kid again, and enjoys every minute of it!
