Planned Pethood International

Exciting things are happening here in San Carlos, Mexico. The Planned Pethood International Training Center is nearly up and running! During this time the center has been used a few times for some spay and neuter training's and is expected to be completed this coming May! We are still trying to raise 25,000 dollars to go towards equipment and we will match every single donation that is made to speed this up. Thank you all for the wonderful support.

Mission

Significantly reduce companion animal suffering and overpopulation throughout the world through safe and efficient sterilization techniques!

PPI was was founded in 2000 by internationally recognized veterinarian Jeff Young and is the non-profit division of Planned Pethood Plus, Inc. Dr. Young learned early in his career that the only way to make a difference and help our companion animal friends is to spay and neuter. Dr. Young has personally sterilized over 160,000 companion animals and is driven to help teach other veterinarians what he has learned in regard to fast efficient spay/neuter.

PPI understands that true growth and success cannot happen without collaboration and networking; therefore, PPI is working to provide training facilities throughout the world. PPI and PPP have been working with Montana Spay/Neuter Task Force, Spay USA, and the North Shore Animal League of America.

PPI provided training for veterinarians and funds to construct a training facility in Europe. Planned Pethood Slovakia has been providing full-service quality veterinary care since 2000. PPI also provided training and construction for Planned Pethood Mexico in Merida, Mexico.

PPI Goals
  • Open full-service clinics in Thailand, India, and the Philippines.
  • Expand mobile clinic operations to make them accessible to everyone.
