Jennifer Lynn received her technician certification in 2006 and became a certified avian specialist in 2009. In 2016 while doing relief work in the veterinary field, she saw a need for a place for technicians to connect online and she created the Facebook group “Connecticut Veterinary Technicians”, which is still going strong today. In 2019 she became Fear Free certified and in 2021 she received her Brave Spaces certification from the AVMA. She is also an active member of PrideVMC and is a Pawsibilities Vet Med mentor. She is currently studying for her certification as a Veterinary Business Leader and her next goal is to become a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager as soon as she is eligible.

  • Stefanie R

Stefanie started as a veterinary assistant and worked her way through up to a veterinarian technician, specializing in exotics.

She took a brief hiatus from veterinary medicine to work in environmental education and conservation and became a wildlife rehabber during that time. She has continued her passion as a wildlife rehabilitator for almost 20 years. Stefanie served on the Connecticut Wildlife Rehabilitator Association board for 9 years, as one of the youngest members to ever serve. Although no longer on the board, she continues to work with them, mentoring new rehabbers and helping with continuing education for others.

In her spare time Stefanie loves reading, hiking, & photography. She has the most amazing husband & kids that support her endeavors.
