_____________________________________ The PPVC Professional Team ____________________________________

  • Brittany
    Practice Manager

Brittany has been in the veterinary field since 2008. She has had the pleasure of working with the owners for over 15+ years. She is a people person who loves meeting and talking with clients and strives for outstanding customer service. Brittany has a B.A. degree in Public Relations from Washington State University. Go Cougs! When not in the clinic, she stays very busy at home with her husband, three beautiful (but busy!) daughters and one mischievous cat named Sonic.

  • Chrissy
    Licensed Veterinary Technician

In 2001 Chrissy’s cat was injured and her vet was in need of a receptionist, she said it must have been fate because she switched her career goals and has been in the vet field ever since. Chrissy loves the variety of breeds we get to work with, but she also enjoys having fun with her coworkers daily. If Chrissy were a dog, she said a Border Collie fits her personality best as she is always on the go and must be doing something, however, if she could choose, she said she would like to be a Labrador as they have unlimited energy but also know how to relax and be lazy (plus they have short, low maintenance hair).

  • Jamie
    Licensed Veterinary Technician

Jamie joined the team in April 2025 and brings 16 years of experience in the veterinary field. She holds an AAS in Veterinary Technology and a BS in Psychology from Colorado State University. Jamie has wanted to work in veterinary medicine since she was a child. After completing her undergraduate degree, she followed that lifelong passion by returning to school to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician, blending her love of science with hands-on patient care. Her favorite parts of her role include the science behind medicine, anesthesia, and advocating for patients who cannot speak for themselves. When she’s not at the clinic, she enjoys reading, kayaking, and spending time with her pets.

  • Jim
    Client Service Agent

Jim has been welcoming clients at our front desk since January 2025 and joined us with two years of prior veterinary medicine experience. He loves interacting with clients and working alongside animals, but his absolute favorite part of the job is reuniting lost pets with their owners. Outside of the clinic, Jim enjoys spending time with his three kids and four animals. He’s a fan of movies, video games, and jigsaw puzzles. Fun fact: Jim has met several celebrities, including Jamie Lee Curtis, C. Thomas Howell, and Patrick Swayze! We’re still hoping his good fortune with celebrity encounters will someday extend to a clinic visit!

  • Linda
    Client Service Agent

Since April 2022 Linda has been one of the lovely faces of the front desk. She came to us with no vet experience, but has quickly learned to love it and has gained so much knowledge. She lives locally with her husband and daughter. When she’s not here sharing her quick wit and humor, she likes to spend time with her family and friends, reading mysteries, kayaking, baking and spending time with her grandbabies.

  • Alyssa
    Veterinary Assistant

Currently a Certified Veterinary Assistant, Alyssa is also enrolled in Penn Foster in the Vet Tech program. She has been working in the vet med since 2018 and loves the science behind it. She said she also loves all the gross and gory things involved with patient care. If Alyssa could be a dog, she would be a Saluki as she’s an agile sprinter, gentle, and devoted to family. Alyssa lives locally with her cat, dog and son. She plays soccer, is crafty, and loves to bake.

  • Ash
    Veterinary Assistant

Meet Ash! Having fallen headfirst into the field of animal medicine - landing like a cat, obviously - Ash has shown a love for animals only surpassed by his knack for quick learning and ability to handle hairy situations. A transplant from Utah, Ash is also an author, a collector of hiking trails, and a part-time pitcher (chewed tennis balls mostly). His affection for quadrupeds is not confined to these clinic walls but extends to his faithful canine companions, Wicken and Fennel. Ash is currently exploring technician programs here in our beautiful Evergreen State.

  • Dia
    Veterinary Assistant

Dia has been in the veterinary field since 2022 and joined our team in late 2023. She entered the veterinary field as a meaningful and productive place to be while working toward her bigger picture - learning practical skills and making a positive impact along the way. Her favorite part of the job is getting to see pets consistently; watching puppies and kittens grow up, admiring the wise little gray faces that appear over time, and seeing the care we provide make a real difference in their lives. Outside the clinic, Dia enjoys music, cribbage, and going on impromptu adventures. A fun fact about Dia: she’s an avid trinket collector!

  • Molly
    Veterinary Assistant

Molly joined our team in March 2025, bringing with her years of veterinary assistant experience. She is currently enrolled in a vet technician program and is working toward becoming a licensed veterinary technician. Her favorite parts of the job include assisting in surgery and always learning from her amazing coworkers (with plenty of laughter along the way). Outside of work, Molly enjoys spending time with her husband, three dogs, and cat. She can often be found immersed in video games, with RDR2 as her current fav. She's self described as a “husky at heart”- energetic, outgoing, talkative and can be just a bit sassy too.

  • Sammi
    Veterinary Assistant

Sammi joined the team in March 2025, bringing three years of experience as a veterinary assistant after jumping straight into veterinary medicine right out of high school. She is currently working toward her bachelor’s degree in biology while also studying for the VTNE. Sammi’s favorite part of her job is watching pets run excitedly back to their owners after even a short separation. She lives with her two cats, Po and Lushi. In her free time, Sammi enjoys trying new recipes and convincing her family to be the taste testers. She also loves doing her nails and changes the color and style multiple times a week.

  • Sofie
    Veterinary Assistant

Sofie joined the team in 2025 with just over a year of experience as a veterinary assistant. She is passionate about helping pets live healthy lives and enjoys the problem-solving aspects of veterinary medicine. Although she has always worked with animals, her favorite part of the field is seeing the processes used in preclinical studies. Sofie lives locally with her fiancé, two dogs, and a gecko. In her free time, she enjoys playing with and training her dogs, video games, and gardening. If Sofie were a dog, she says she would be a Rhodesian Ridgeback - tall in stature and confident most of the time. A fun fact about Sofie is that she can write backwards!

  • Trena
    Veterinary Assistant

Trena has been an assistant for over 20 years and still says there is always something new to learn. Growing up she owned all kinds of animals from farm animals to rodents, so she said veterinary is just in her blood. If Trena were a dog, she would be a chihuahua. Why? Because she is small but mighty! When not here at PPVC, Trena loves photography and has a special knack for wildlife photography.
