    Russell Cain is a native of Jackson, Mississippi. He completed his undergraduate studies at Florida International University in Miami in 2000 and received his doctorate of veterinary medicine from Kansas State University in 2011.

  • Dr. Brianna Berkey

    Dr. Brianna Berkey is originally from Maryland and Pennsylvania with an extensive background in small scale dairy and beef farming. She started working in the veterinary industry as a technician through high school and undergrad. She completed her undergraduate studies at University of Pittsburgh in 2016 and received her doctorate of veterinary medicine from Kansas State University in 2020. After graduation, she started out in a mixed animal veterinary practice in Garnett, Kansas. Her career interests include surgery, general wellness, and internal medicine. In her free time, she enjoys hunting, fishing, camping with friends, and training and spending time with her two dogs, Kimber and Nelli.

    We moved to Overland Park in May 2020 and needed a vet for our dog. This one seemed close and we gave it a try. The staff was outstanding! We have boarded out dog there, had him groomed, had his checkups there and even had them take care of a couple of emergency situations and they were awesome. We recommend them highly!

    Deer Creek animal hospital is the best!!! My dog Tater has some serious fear aggression especially at the Vet. It makes it very hard for her to get her care done. We decided to sedate her for her visit this time around and Dr. Cain and his staff bent over backwards to help Tater and take care of her. And never once made us feel bad for having an aggressive dog (most vets do). They are absolutely the best!
