Meet Our Team

  • Christina Vittoria, DVM

Dr. Vittoria began working for Willow Creek in 2002. After graduating from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in 2000, she completed a one-year large animal internship at the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. Currently, Dr. Vittoria authors the column Ask the Horse Doctor in the Berks Country portion of the Reading Eagle newspaper every Wednesday. In addition to writing about horses and other farm critters, she enjoys craft beer and spending time with her cats, husband and daughters.

  • Travis Boston DVM

Dr. Boston graduated from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. Prior to joining Willow Creek in 2007, he worked as an equine veterinarian in Colorado and Maryland. His professional interests include equine dentistry and podiatry. He has extensive training in advanced dentistry and worked closely with two experts in the field, Dr.s Edward Earley and Jack Easley.  When he's not taking care of patients, Dr. Boston enjoys playing racquetball and spending time with his wife and three children.

  • Kendra Fake, VMD

Dr. Kendra Fake graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2019 after specializing in equine medicine. She has recently completed a rotating internship at Rhinebeck Equine in New York, where she gained a year of clinical experience in both an ambulatory and referral hospital setting. Before veterinary school, she went to undergrad in her home state at The University of Maine in Orono. Dr. Fake enjoys equine reproduction and neonatology, as well as preventative medicine. When she's not caring for horses, she spends her time with her family consisting of her husband, Adam, sons, Lincoln and Grant, and pets Kaiser, Kimber, and Klementine!

  • Amanda Deitch

Amanda attended Millersville University, and was lucky enough to be involved in horses from a very young age. Amanda has an extensive background as a veterinary technician in both large and small animal settings. When not at work she spends as much time as possible at the barn with her OTTB More Veggies, and in the Florida Keys.

  • Sarah Gaston

Moving here from New Jersey, Sarah started working as on of our full time assistants in July 2018. She has 15+ years of equine experience and before moving to Pennsylvania, she was riding every day, whenever she could. Other hobbies include photography and going jogging. She loves being on the road with the Doctors and learning something new every day. For her, being part of a group of people who share the same love for animals, especially horses, is very rewarding.

  • Nancy Gelsinger

Nancy is one of our office staff, responsible for all of our purchasing accounts and billing. She has worked with us for the last 35 years and has stayed on as the clinic has gone through many changes. She enjoys volunteering with her church and mowing her lawn in the summer.

  • Amanda Rothermel

Amanda aka AL started out as a full time Technician in early 2022, but then transitioned into a office position in late 2023 due to her pregnancy. She graduated from Morrisville State College in 2019 with a Bachelor's degree in Equine Science with a specialization in Reproduction. When you call the office, Amanda may be one of the people who you speak with! Outside of work, she can be found taking care of her 5 horses, 3 goats, 2 dogs, and spending time with her husband and son.

  • Molly Ochs

Molly started working as a full time technician in the beginning of 2023. She graduated high school in 2022 and is currently working on getting her veterinary technician certification. She has been riding since she was two years old. Outside of work, she enjoys riding her horse, hunting weight lifting, and snowboarding.

  • Marisa Drey

Marisa is one of our office staff who has joined our practice at the beginning of 2024. She has been riding horses since she was in utero. She grew up on a private boarding facility where she focused on rescuing, training, and finding new homes for them. Marisa competed on Kutztown University's Equestrian Team in English Equitation, but also trained in dressage, jumping, and western reining. Her dream was to become an eventer, but unfortunately medical issues halted that path. She keeps her horse on the flat and enjoys pleasure riding now. Marisa earned her BFA from Kutztown University and is certified through Delaware Valley University for equine massage. When she's not working, she's at the barn, out hiking, or taking pictures to paint.
