Dr. Andrea Hoover

Dr. Hoover graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University in 2009. She practiced for five years in a feline exclusive clinic before joining Redmond-Kirkland and Redmond-Fall City Animal Hospitals in 2014. Her interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery and feline behavior. She and her husband enjoy hiking in the local mountains, photography, and spending time with their daughter. They own an English setter, "Jack," who enjoys getting out on the trails, and two very social Bengal cats, "Ryoushi" and "Sasha."

Dr. Noelle Thomas

Dr. Thomas graduated from the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of California, Davis in 2004. She practiced for several years at a more rural clinic in the mountains of Southern California, where she had the opportunity to work with wildlife and the Moonridge Animal Park. She moved to Washington with her husband in 2011 to work as a general practitioner in Woodinville before joining Redmond Kirkland Animal Hospital in 2014. Dr. Thomas’s interests include exotic animal medicine, internal medicine and dentistry. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Thomas has her hands full with two small daughters, two chatty cockatiels and one equally chatty orange tabby cat. If she has the chance, she enjoys baking, cross-stitch/knitting and curling up with good novel.

Dr. Rachel Wise

Dr. Wise received her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington in Zoology and went on to the College of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University, graduating in 2005. Since graduation, she has worked at two small animal practices in the Bellevue area until finding a home at Redmond-Kirkland & Redmond-Fall City Animal Hospitals in the fall of 2014. Dr. Wise enjoys internal medicine, feline medicine, and soft tissue surgery. She resides locally and lives with her two daughters. Free time is mainly spent with family enjoying what the Pacific Northwest has to offer or just hanging at home.

Dr. Mike Brands

Dr. Brands was born in Indiana, but has been a West Coaster for the past 13 years. He studied engineering and business at Purdue University before starting a career in retail management. It took some time before he found his true calling in life and enrolled in veterinary school at the University of Minnesota, where he earned his DVM degree.

Mike’s two strongest passions in life are animals and travel. He finds opportunities to combine these passions whenever possible, like working with veterinary practices in Australia, Vietnam and Thailand as well as volunteering his veterinary services in Uganda, Cambodia and Ecuador. In their spare time, Mike and his wife enjoy hiking, camping and globetrotting.



Dr. Lilly Ho

Dr. Lilly Ho obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Cincinnati in 1998 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota in 2002.  After graduation, she decided to head west and has called the PNW home ever since.  Dr. Ho has experience in shelter medicine in addition to working previously at veterinary clinics in Lakewood and Kent, WA.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, travel, gardening, yoga, and the outdoors.  She shares her home with a bossy Pekingese "Lady" and a shy Terrier X "Sophie."
