Meet Our Veterinarians

Dr. Terri Hartung

Dr. Hartung graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1984, and received her veterinary degree from Oklahoma State University in 1988. She attained specialty board certification in Canine and Feline Practice by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in 1995, and joined Redmond Fall City Animal Hospital in January 1996.

She shares a hectic household with her husband, two active and opinionated homeschooled girls, and a pack of dysfunctionally intelligent dogs (currently one boxer and two Australian Shepherds). In her free time, she enjoys reading (history, literature and education), writing (essays and short fiction), and dog activities. At work her special interests include internal medicine, behavior, and pediatric/geriatric care.

Dr. Erin Maillet

Dr. Maillet graduated from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. While in veterinary school, she studied mercury contamination of endangered river turtles in Venezuela. After graduation, Dr. Maillet practiced at a five doctor practice just north of Boston. She moved with her husband to the Seattle area in 2002. She has worked as an emergency veterinarian, shelter veterinarian and as a general practitioner. In 2008, Dr. Maillet had her first child. In her limited spare time, she enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, gardening and trying to keep some semblance of order to her growing household. She also has two naughty cats who add to the chaos. Dr. Maillet's special interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery and preventative medicine.

Dr. Kristina Schwartz

Dr. Schwartz received her undergraduate degree in Russian Studies from Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania. She worked in Russia for a year on a large dairy farm before attending the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she graduated in 2019. Dr. Schwartz was the president of the veterinary school nutrition club and has been involved with cows, chickens, and small ruminants in addition to cats and dogs. Her interests include dermatology, internal medicine, surgery, and any animal that might live on a farm. Dr. Schwartz and her husband, both originally from the East coast, enjoy their new life in the Pacific Northwest, where they frequently run, hike, rock climb, and go on other adventures.

Dr. Schwartz will be joining our practice June 17th! We are optimistic that you will find both of these new additions to our team a great asset to our clinic and your pets.
