Summer is approaching, everyone is already excited about taking their furry babies out for camping, hiking, trekking, hunting and swimming. The risk of getting exposed to Rattle Snakes is always there especially in the foothills. There is a vaccine that can help protect your dogs against the bite, it can save their lives. We recommend starting this vaccine early, at least 6 weeks before you plan on doing high risk outdoor activities with your dogs (if they are first timers, they need a series of 2 shots given 30 days apart, good immunity can be achieved about 1 week after the second shot).
