Introducing Phoenix Veterinary Center’s Pet of the Month…Shaggy!!
Shaggy came in to Phoenix Veterinary Center mid-August with a very nasty wound on his tail that we were assuming was a spider bite, as he had a lot of skin sloughing. Dr. Roe had to anesthetize him to remove all of the diseased tissue and drain an abscess that had formed. Over the period of 3 weeks and a lot of bandaging and excellent home care, he has finally healed. We chose Shaggy as our pet of the month to highlight his owner's dedication for Responsible Pet Ownership Month.
What is Shaggy's favorite thing to do?

Just a WARNING: very graphic photos below, but we thought you should see the progress that he has made and the wonderful care that he received from Dr. Roe and the rest of the staff at Phoenix Veterinary Center.
