Signs of Potential Pet Skin Problems 

There are a number of red flags to be on the lookout for that could indicate your pet is suffering from a skin condition. For starters, if you notice your pet seems to be grooming excessively in a certain area of the body (such as the paws or tail), this could indicate some kind of skin irritation. Sometimes, the grooming could become so excessive due to irritation that your pet may exhibit "bald spots" or hot spots. Another sign to watch out for is that of excessive shedding, which could indicate a skin problem (but is not always the case).
