Meet the Team

Dr. Denise Kehm-Jones is originally from Lehigh County Pennsylvania where she helped on her grandparents farm and enjoyed a rural lifestyle. After graduating second in her class at Northwestern Lehigh High School, she graduated second in her class at Delaware Valley College with a major in Biology and minor in Animal Science. Dr Jones met her husband, Scott, at Del Val while competing on the track and field team. Her veterinary training was obtained at Cornell University, where she concentrated on preparing for mixed animal practice,graduating in 1997. She has worked in mixed animal, equine, and small animal practice. She particularly enjoys preventive medicine and dentistry and strongly believes that appropriate diet, exercise, attention from their owners, dental care and vaccinations, along with regular bloodwork are key components to keep pets healthy.

Dr Jones and her husband live outside of New Ringgold on a small farm with their three cats:  Ginger, Zane Gray and Pumpkin; two dogs- Biscuit and Cookie and 4 horses- Jesse, Checkers, Polly and Suzie In her free time (weekends) she enjoys hiking with her dogs, reading, horseback riding (cutting and trails), and archery hunting.
