Liz has been in the animal field most of her life. After attending Morrisville State College for Equine Science, she began her career as a veterinary technician. Erika enjoys surgery, patient care, and client education. Outside of work Erika enjoys spending time with her family and getting outdoors as much as possible.

  • Jessica

Jess entered the veterinary world as an assistant right after high school, eventually joining HVH in October of 2016. When she isn't here, she can be found studying history and anthropology at Eastern Connecticut State University or traveling. In her spare time she enjoys running, spending time with her cavalier, Priscilla, or exploring local breweries.

Stephanie began her career at HVH as an intern, working to finish her vet tech program and becoming certified through NCCC. She officially joined the team in the spring of 2017. When she isn't here brightening everyone's day, she can be found spending time with her family and two pets Karma and Ziggy. Beth also enjoys running, skiing and hiking.

  • Mama Cat
    Hospital Cat

Mama has been living at HVH for about 12 years. She was dropped off with her litter of kittens in 2006, where the staff brought her in and helped raise her kittens. They each found their way a good home but Mama stayed right in the hospital. She was very shy at the start however after some coaxing has come around to grace clients with her presence. She's often found napping in little hideouts throughout the hospital.

  • Daryl
    Hospital Cat

Daryl was found by a local couple during a snowstorm in 2016. In extremely rough shape, Dr. Mordasky wasn't sure that he would survive through his ordeal. He weighed only four pounds and suffered from frostbite on his tail and ears. Several days following his initial admission he also coughed up a piece of metal, which we believe he was trying to eat because he was so hungry. Dr. M also chose the name Daryl from her love of the AMC show The Walking Dead, appropriate considering the shape he was in. Since then, Daryl has become the icon of the hospital, greeting clients and patients at the door and making sure everyone knows who's really in charge at HVH.

  • Pepper Mintstix
    Hospital Cat

Pepper came to us at the end of 2017, found in rough shape by a Hebron resident. Incredibly sweet and incredibly friendly, Pepper bounced back and felt right at home in the hospital. He enjoys staying in the back where he can meow at the staff and receive lots of love.
