As
the popularity of exotic pet ownership increases, we strive to help
educate our clients about proper husbandry and care for their avian and
exotic pets. One of the biggest challenges exotic pet owners face is
that it is hard to figure out what is wrong with them when they are
sick. In nature, it is survival of the fittest, and most of these
animals learn to mask any signs that mark them as weak. As the New York
State Liaison for the Association of Avian Veterinarians, Dr. Wyler
takes a special interest in all of our exotic companions.
