We are a busy and growing multi-doctor group of veterinary dermatology specialty clinics. We are looking for a full-time Veterinary Assistant/Inventory Clerk to join our team at our Vancouver location. This position is temporary and will be covering a maternity leave.

Responsibilities:
- Tracking and maintaining processes for ensuring accurate inventory management
- Reconciling any discrepancies in inventory data
- Placing product orders to fulfill inventory needs
- Unpacking and rotating stock
- Entering inventory into practice management system
- Contacting vendors to process returns for credits
- Collaborating with management to report stock issues
- Assisting other departments (eg. animal restraint, client phone/email communication)
- Misc. projects as assigned by the Practice Manager and doctors

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Qualifications:
- 1 year experience working in inventory control
- Previous experience in the veterinary industry is preferred
- Basic computer skills are required; Cornerstone experience is an asset
