Veterinary Technician
Are you tired of the routine, the rechecks and the vaccines?? We at Mountain Emergency Animal Center, located in beautiful Blue Ridge, Georgia, are seeking experienced Veterinary Technicians to add to our growing emergency and critical care practices. Technicians are an integral part of the team and play a key role in developing treatment plans and patient care. We are seeking Technicians who will serve as patient advocates and be resources for our clients. The ideal candidates will be detail-oriented and proficient in the following: admitting, monitoring and discharging patients, dispensing medications, proper restraint techniques, blood collection, assisting in surgical cases (inducing and monitoring anesthesia) performing venous and urinary catheterization, taking vital signs and radiography. Applicants must be able to work full-time, evenings, weekends and holidays - and have a minimum of 2 years previous veterinary experience.
Veterinary Assistant
Veterinary Assistants have a large role in our emergency center. They assist veterinarians and technicians during patient care and provide comfort and compassion to both patients and clients.
