AppointmentsOur appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability.
We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 5 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle urgent situations and care your pet may need. Usually, an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life. Emergencies can be things such as acute metabolic failure (kidney, heart, and liver), hit-by-car trauma, and chocolate ingestion.
While we will try our best to accommodate emergencies and urgent cases for our clientele during our regular hours, we will triage on a case-by-case basis since there is not always an available veterinarian on site. PLEASE CALL AHEAD and our staff will advise whether a veterinarian is available to tend to your pet’s needs or if your pet will be better served by a referral to one of the area Emergency or Urgent Care veterinary facilities in the area.
We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening. If you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment, our veterinarians will do our best to "squeeze" you in between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.
By our choice we limit our practice to dogs and cats so that we may offer the best care possible for these two species of companion animals.
We proudly accept new pet patients from established clients from Sagamore Hills, Northfield, Brecksville, Macedonia, Twinsburg, Hudson, Walton Hills, and the greater Cleveland and Akron areas.
