At least once a year, you should bring your pet in for a check-up.  This will include a full physical exam, diagnostics, and vaccinations as appropriate for your pet's species/breed, age, and lifestyle. Our doctor will check your pet from head to tail and make recommendations to ensure the continued health of your pet.
Please bring any and all records from other clinics you have for your pets, especially vaccine records.  Some pets cannot/will not be seen without current vaccines, most importantly Rabies vaccine. It's best to keep a journal of your pet's health throughout his or her life, including behavioral shifts.  If you have something like this, share it with our team. If not, let us know everything that you think will be important. We can still work with whatever information you have.  To expedite your first visit with us, we suggest that you submit the New Client Form before your arrival. In some circumstances, our doctors may refer you to a specialist who has advanced expertise in areas such as internal medicine or surgery.

LATE CANCELLATION / NO SHOW POLICIES:

NEW Dale Mabry Animal Hospital Clients:

Due to many new client cancellations, we now require a deposit of our exam fee for ALL new client appointments. We understand things come up and schedules change but if you are unable to keep your first appointment with us, you must cancel (via text or call 813-839-6191) within 24 hours of your appointment or your deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE. This allows us to fill the opening with another patient

EXISTING Dale Mabry Animal Hospital Clients:

After two (2) No Shows or Late Cancellations, our receptionists will take a non - refundable deposit (equal to the Complete Physician Exam Fee) to reschedule the appointment.

Late Cancellation: Less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.

No Show: Missing appointment without cancelling

NOTE: The deposit fee cannot be used for products or any other services (e.g. bath, nail trim, anal glands, etc.)
