Diagnostics
We offer in-house Radiology (x-rays), and Electocardiograms (ECG). Our technicians also routinely perform blood counts and chemistries, urinalyses, fecal examinations, cytologies and pre-anesthetic screens in-house.
Surgery & Dentistry
Our surgery suite is fully equipped with modern and carefully maintained anesthesia machines. We use state-of-the-art equipment to continuously monitor heart rate, respirations, blood pressure and blood oxygen levels in our anesthetized patients.
Dental services we provide include:
- Scaling and polishing healthy teeth
- Digital dental x-ray
- Periodontal disease treatment
- Surgical extraction of diseased teeth
Pharmacy & Nutrition
Our in-house pharmacy stocks medications and medical supplies, both for inpatient care and for dispensing. Our partner pharmacy, VetSource expands that inventory even more with convenient home delivery.
We offer specially formulated prescription diets for treating medical conditions such as diabetes, kidney disease, heart disease, allergies and obesity. Your doctor will help you choose the best diets for your pets based on their specific needs.
Boarding
We offer limited boarding for our patients here at Fairmount Animal Hospital. We ask your cooperation in making reservations early, especially during holiday weeks, as space tends to fill up quickly. Visit our boarding page for more information.
